Power Checking
The Power Checking account is our signature account – and for good reason. You’ll earn interest and receive up to $15 in domestic ATM fee refunds for each cycle you qualify.
It’s easy to qualify and there are no monthly service fees. $100 minimum to open.

Power Checking reward qualifications | To qualify for the Power Rate and receive domestic ATM fee refunds, each qualification cycle, you must: 1. Receive electronic statements. 2. Make at least 15 debit card purchases that post and clear (ATM transactions aren’t included). 3. Make at least one direct deposit, automatic debit or bill pay transaction to post and clear. |

Withdrawals from ATMs not owned by MidWestOne | If Power Checking qualifications are met, domestic ATM fees will be refunded up to $15, which includes our $1 fee for using a machine not owned by MWO and fees charged by the machine owner. If Power Checking qualification requirements are NOT met or if there are more than $15 per month in ATM fees, you will be charged $1 (plus any fees assessed by the ATM) per withdrawal.3 ATM surcharges greater than $4.99 are not automatically refunded and require receipt to be presented for a refund. |

Important Power Checking Dates
Power Checking Qualification Cycles end on the fourth Wednesday of each month. On this day, transaction counts are finalized and interest is paid. Transactions that have posted and cleared are no longer in pending status. Any transactions pending when the Power Checking Qualification Cycle ends will not be included in the current cycle. Domestic ATM fees are refunded to the account once the Power Checking qualifications are met.
The current qualification cycle will end on fourth Wednesday of the month .
